Who we are:
The Georgia Mountains Auburn Club is an officially chartered group of Auburn University Alumni and Friends.

Our Mission:
The mission of the Georgia Mountain Auburn Club is to strengthen the
relationship between Auburn University and its alumni and friends in North
Georgia; to encourage North Georgia students to attend Auburn University;
and to continue the spirit of affection we all have for our alma mater.

What we do:
We hold a number of primary events each year, a winter leadership meeting, a
spring picnic, a special summer function, an early fall listening party, a
tailgate party at Auburn, and a Christmas party. Some events raise funds to
support scholarships for Auburn students. We plan to participate in an area
function to benefit our region each year. Our special Summer function this year will be an NCAA golf tournament with golfers from all over North Georgia representing their alma mater. Money raised will be designated for the club's scholarship fund for 2011.
