ABOUT LANIERLAND

Lanierland is an AUSOME club serving more than 1500 Auburn alumni and friends in six northeast Georgia counties: Hall, Forsyth, Lumpkin, White, Habersham and Banks. Like all Alumni Association clubs, we enjoy celebrating our steadfast ties with Auburn, sharing that Great to Be An Auburn Tiger! spirit, and promoting Auburn University in our local area.

CLUB EVENTS:
 In addition to our annual meeting, we host several other events and activities throughout the year. Past events have included "Burn the Bulldog" parties, regular season and bowl game watching parties, and monthly lunches at local restaurants. In 2011, we hope to bring you more gatherings and introduce new events for our Young Alumni.  We will also host our first service project in August with Hall County's Habitat for Humanity.

CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS:

Lanierland awards two (2) $1,000 scholarship each year to incoming students who have been admitted for enrollment into Auburn University. Preference is given to incoming freshman who are graduates from a high school in the Lanierland Club area and demonstrate a financial need as verified by Auburn University's Office of Financial Aid. For more information and to apply, students should contact the Office of University Scholarships.
