Our Mission:
* Promote ties between friends and Alumni of Auburn University;
* Promote membership in the National Auburn Alumni Association;
* Promote Auburn University as a place of higher education.

The Shoals Area Auburn Club is the official support organization for the Auburn family in the Shoals Area area serving Auburn graduate households and numerous friends of Auburn University living in the Shoals (Florence, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Sheffield and surrounding areas). The Shoals Area Auburn Club is dedicated to fostering the Auburn Spirit and raising money to fund the club's endowed scholarship.

The Shoals Area Auburn Club was created for Auburn alumni, friends, and family to share their Auburn spirit here in the Shoals Area. You do not have to be an Auburn alumnus to join. If you share our love for Auburn and believe in the Auburn Creed, you are welcome to join us.

Mark Murphy of “Inside the Auburn Tigers” will speak to theShoals Area Auburn Club on Monday evening Feb 6th, 2012 at the Shoals Marriott"Swampers"...all Auburn alumni and fans are welcome...

As editor of the highly respected magazine, Inside the Auburn Tigers, which has readers in all 50 states and around the world, Mark Murphy literally grew up in the middle of Auburn University athletics. He began attending Tiger sporting events even before he started school, helping set upradio equipment for his father, the engineer for the Auburn Network’s football, basketball and baseball broadcasts.

Game of my life Murphy’s professional experience includes jobs as a sports editor and news editor for daily newspapers as well as a bureau chief for Knight-Ridder newspapers. He has produced numerous articles as a freelance writer for regional and national publications and has worked as a sports radio talk show host. He is also a frequent guest on radio programs from coast to coast to discuss Auburn University athletics.

Mark will update us on our new recruiting class and the how Tigers stack up against the rest of the SEC.
