Auburn Alumni Association Board Mentor: Van Henley '80

About us:
The Rocky Mountain Auburn Club was formed to bring together Auburn alums, Auburn fans, and friends of both.

Our Goals:
* To promote Auburn University in Colorado
* To bring together club members in a social environment with others who have shared the Auburn Experience. These gatherings include various events such as Auburn Football Game Watching Parties, Ski Trips, Picnics, Happy Hours, Banquets, and other great events
* To raise money for RMAC Scholarships that help send deserving Colorado residents to Auburn University
* To adopt philanthropic causes to help raise awareness and funds for local and national causes as decided by the club
* To have other folks with which to yell "WAR EAGLE!"

Service:
RMAC is committed to not only celebrating the Auburn Spirit in Colorado, but also to contributing to the community in which we live.

For this reason, RMAC undertakes several different community services project each year. In the spirit of Colorado, one project typically follows an environmental service theme, and our other projects involve general service to our community.

Scholarship:
Each year, RMAC is committed to donating $275 toward a scholarship for a Colorado resident to attend Auburn. We awarded that last fall to one student, Justin David Dithmer, who is already attending Auburn.

In addition to this scholarship, RMAC is working to fund a full academic scholarship for a Colorado resident.
