Our Scholarship Banquet 2011!  So much fun! Coach Trooper Taylor was fantastic! Entertaining and informative.  Now we all know why he wears his cap backwards.  The auction was a great success as we raised several thousand dollars for the Charles D. Hudson Memorial Scholarship.

When Auburn People get together good things happen!

WDE!!

Part of the delegation from the West Georgia Auburn Club posing with David Housel, Athletic Director Emeritus, Historian, Story Teller and all round AUBURN MAN.  We didn't have to beg long to get David to agree to be our featured speaker at this year's Annual Meeting and Charles D. Hudson Memorial Scholarship Banquet.  Make plans to join us, May 7th at the Del 'avant in LaGrange, GA.  Festivities begin at 6:00 PM, EST.  There are sure to be fun stories, great auction items and as they say... a "fun time" to be had by all!!  WDE!!

L-R:  Dr. John Vollenweider, President; David Housel, Susan Black, VP; and Ken Young, Secretary.

Jerry Rigby received the prestigious Most Outstanding Club Leader Award at this year's Club Leadership Conference.  This is given each year to ONLY ONE individual selected from ALL THE LEADERS in ALL THE Auburn Alumni Clubs throughout the nation. Congratulations Jerry.  A well deserved long over due thank you.  We are very proud you are a major part of the West Georgia Auburn Club.
