Chevy 6 to Entertain at Alumni Hospitality Tent for Iron Bowl

Chevy 6, one of Birmingham’s most popular party bands, will perform at the Auburn Alumni Association’s Alumni Hospitality Tent prior to the Iron Bowl, the Tigers’ annual rivalry game against the University of Alabama.

Since 1974, Chevy 6 has played “oldies” and beach-party music at nightclubs and on college campuses in Alabama and elsewhere. The band plays hits from artists like Elvis and the Beach Boys to Jimi Hendrix and the Temptations.

Be sure to check out more of Chevy 6’s playlist and listen to their versions of several classics.

This tailgate at the Alumni Hospitality Tent, located on the Wallace Center lawn just steps away from Jordan-Hare Stadium, also will feature food from Momma Goldberg’s Deli, a big-screen TV for watching other Southeastern Conference games, visits from Aubie and the birds of the Southeastern Raptor Center, giveaways, and more. Admission is free for association members and children ages 3 and under; members may bring one guest for $5. Children ages 4-12 pay $5. Admission is $10 for all other guests.

The Alumni Association will be giving away the band's 35th anniversary book and 2-disc live set in a Twontest during the week leading up to the Iron Bowl. Be sure to follow @AUALumniAssoc on Twitter to participate.

We hope to see you there!
