It's Time for the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry"

It’s that time of year again. The temperature is dropping, everything is becoming pumpkin-flavored and the leaves are turning a lovely orange color (our personal opinion, of course.) You know what that means. It must be time for another Auburn vs. Georgia football game!

This weekend, our Tigers will take on the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia in the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” for the 115th time. Students, alumni and fans will travel from all over the South to Athens to see the two teams battle for glory and bragging rights.

For more history and information on this rivalry tradition, be sure to check out the Auburn Magazine’s blog post.

If you are making the trip to Athens this weekend, we would love to see you at our “Barbeque the Bulldogs” tailgate sponsored by the Greater Athens Auburn Club.

We hope to see you in Athens!
